About Us

Having been in the Marine Industry for 15 years and having been trained by a Senior Lloyds Surveyor and a Senior YDSA Surveyor, I have gained a wealth of knowledge and hands on experience with the problems that evolve with GRP, FRP and steel vessels. I am qualified in Yacht Surveying through the International Boat Building Training College in Oulton Broad and I am an Affiliate Member of the YDSA. The IBTC course in Oulton Broad is recognised by the YDSA.

I have a passion for motorboats and yachts which drives me to continuously improve and expand my knowledge so that you, as the client, can be assured that when your vessel is surveyed by us, the report that you receive will be factually correct, honest and up to the current standards.

The surveys are always undertaken by myself, This ensures a professional delivery of the reports and other documentation. We are based in East Sussex but offer our services throughout the UK and Europe.

Extensive dezincification of a propeller, the leading edges of the blades broke away in my hands.

Me taking ultra sonic thickness readings on a Dutch steel cruiser after sand blasting. The vessel was approximatley 40 years old. Extensive new plating was needed to the bow section and ultra sonic reading identified this.
